General

• We reserve the right to refuse service to anyone who is disruptive or who causes any kind of safety concern to our students or staff.

• Gift cards are valid for one year from the date of purchase.

• Promotional discounts cannot be combined nor added to class credits. Each discount is applicable to one full-priced class registration only. Other restrictions may apply.

• We reserve the right to change the assigned teacher for a class at any time.

• No refund will be given if an in-person class needs to be temporarily moved online due to exceptional circumstances outside of Cōzette’s control such as pandemics or natural disasters.

Group Classes

• All group classes must be paid in full before the beginning of the session. Please contact us at bonjour@cozettefrenchclasses.com for any payment plan options on our 10-week group classes.

• Withdrawal requests must be made at least seven days prior to the start date of your class in order to receive a full refund of your tuition fee. After this date, refunds cannot be given under any circumstance. 

• Refunds cannot be issued for group classes after you attend your first class. 

• If you need to withdraw from the class that you signed up for, we will offer to transfer you to another class of the same level, if available. If we do not have another class to offer you, or if the option presented doesn’t work for you, your group class credit could be transferred towards private lessons, or a future class, at the school's discretion.

• Refunds are not issued in case of absence.

• In the event of low enrollment in a group class (i.e. three people or less in a 8-person group class), we reserve the right to cancel the class, postpone it to a later start date, combine two groups, or shorten the duration of the class as we see fit. In this case, students will have the option to transfer their credit to a different class, or to get a refund if the new dates do not fit their schedule.

• Group make-up classes are not guaranteed and are subject to availability. If a make-up class option is not available, your teacher will send you an email with notes regarding the lesson you missed. You may also schedule a private makeup class with your teacher for $65.

Private Classes

• Private classes must be paid in full before the scheduled lesson time. 

• Private lessons packages are valid for 6 months from the date of purchase. 

• For private lessons, please notify your teacher at least 24 hours in advance if you need to reschedule or cancel. While we’ll do our best to accommodate schedule changes, availability cannot always be guaranteed. If a session is canceled with less than 24 hours’ notice or if there is a no-show, the full lesson fee will be charged. Private lessons are non-refundable, but if you cancel more than 24 hours in advance, we’ll do our best to reschedule at a mutually convenient time.

• Punctuality is important. We do our utmost to be punctual and give you your full lesson time, so it’s important that you’re on time for your lesson. If you happen to be late, we may need to reduce your lesson time accordingly. If you’re more than 15 minutes late and we haven’t heard from you, we reserve the right to cancel the lesson and you will not receive a refund.

• If two students wish to take private lessons together, the total rate applied will be 1.5 times the normal rate. 

​Privacy Policy

​Cōzette respects your right to privacy and is committed to protecting it. We will not provide personal information to third parties or individuals without your permission. Some areas of our site may require registration. We may ask you for your name, email address, phone number, and other necessary information. We do not collect personal information about individuals except when such individuals voluntarily provide it. Phone numbers are collected when booking a lesson or workshop and may be used to inform students of any last-minute changes (cancelation, rescheduling).

Correction of Site Errors

​We do not ensure that the information on this website is correct and up to date. The information on the website may contain typographical errors or inaccuracies. We reserve the right to update any information at any time without prior notice. Please note that such errors may relate to class information, pricing, and availability. In these instances, we shall have the right to adjust the information of any lessons, packages, or workshops involving inaccuracies. We apologize for any inconvenience.
